How often should you change your profile picture? - Q - 05-08-2013 04:28 PM

I find changing your profile picture or taking a selfie too often is irritating. I usually change mine every few weeks or so (if it's a good picture). They're high quality pictures.

What do you think of people who change their profile pictures often?
What is a good time frame for when a person should change their profile picture?
What do you think of photoshoots or pictures purposefully taken for a profile picture?
What do you think of people changing their profile picture to an older one (like, one or two profile pictures ago). Do you consider that annoying?

I'm taking this poll for a psychology project about how Facebook and other social media affect self-esteem, etc.

Thanks!

1. I think it's annoying. Like, you just made this profile pic. Why are you going around changing it into something else so soon?!
2.A good time frame would be like maybe a few weeks or a month just to let that profile pic really sink in well
3. I think that's whatever. You wanna purposely take a pic to make it your profile pic, then okay
4. I don't really care if they do that. I do it sometimes myself. I guess people just start warming up to another profile pic sometimes that they already had

Frequent changing of Profile picture will surely attract less likes...But changing pics every 5-6 months is a gud option
