Does anyone know of a good browser that is better than Internet Explorer? - TheinFamousXclusiv - 05-08-2013 05:02 PM

If anyone does, can you also say a few pros and cons? I usually play flash games or videos, and I sometimes check on my Facebook, but that's where the problems are. Sometimes, flash games can not even view a loading screen until I press the refresh button, and Facebook loads super-slow, whenever I check on it. Sometimes, the browser can lag when I type, and even though I'm on dial-up, my other computer barely does lags when typing before it didn't work anymore.

Firefox is a good browser. It has a fairly small memory footprint and is highly customizable if you are into that sort of thing.

A common problem for people viewing Facebook on any browser is ads or non-Facebook junk on the screen. You can get a massive increase in performance / faster page loads on all browser types by adding ad block software to your system. I absolutely love Adblock Plus for Firefox (http://adblockplus.org/en/) as it disables banner ads, sidebar ads, and almost all other junk content that doesn't come directly from the page you are trying to view. If you try it and don't like it Adblock Plus is also easy to disable, but I promise you'll like it.

Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
You may want to test both, as each has a good UI.
