There have been random numbers texts my phone and Facebook is the only place I can think they are getting it.

Login to your facebook via computer, not a mobile device.
1. click on the settings icon on the top right of the screen
2. click on privacy settings
3. on the left hand side, click mobile
Here it will show your mobile number associated with your account. Click remove, which is located beside your number

To edit your basic personal information, click on the Update Info button under your cover photo on your timeline. From here, you can edit your:
-Basic Info (gender, birthday, languages, political and religious views)
