your mobile set cannot support it.

no, facebook mobile doesn't support chat, but you can use nimbuzz or ebuddy to be able to chat.

no but u have to download the free facebook chat box app to use the chat box part of it. and iphone's and blackberry's and andriods types of phones i know that should support it. But if u are not sure check with your phone carrier provider.
