How much information does Facebook snatch from their average, ignorant user? - Ignant - 05-10-2013 09:06 AM

As in the kind of person who actually links their personally identifiable and legally accountable identity to Facebook....without any added value.

It's like asking how much wood does a wood chuck chuck? A wood chuck would chuck all the wood it could chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood. So an ignorant user does give away all there information without the use of Facebook

More than you think

Well assuming its only what they SAY they take with apps and what not...Your name, email, friends list...i personally think they copy all info put on there...and its not just facebook.

People CAN copy and paste you photos from facebook into word or paint and re save it onto their own computers...and i know that a few people have had their identities snatched, fake credit cards in their name because of the info taken just by users of facebook

Its the price of a free service.
Data mining is the only value that facebook has. Without data mining facebook shares are worthless.

It all depends on you ( how much you want to give in ).
