So I've notice some people that have alot of friends in facebook can have followers i have 3,000 something friends on facebook.
Is there a way i can get the following button or do you have to have over 4,000 friends to get the followers button?

It's called 'Subscribe' , if you don't have it private they can subscribe to you

How can I start letting people follow me?
-Click in the top-right of your screen
-Select Account Settings
-Click Followers on the left side
-Check the box next to Allow Followers
Note: If you're under 18, you can't allow people to follow you because you can't share public posts. Learn more about how privacy works for minors.
