No Facebook isnt the same, you have to ask her in person if you want her to think about you and remember who you are.

I like doing it in person. But since you like her, start asking her questions, and then finish the last question saying can i get ur number. It'll be fun. An plus your also getting to know her better! Good luck!

I know it can be nerve wracking, but if you like this girl and want to go out with her, you'll have to talk to her at some point in person. The sooner the better!
In person is always better. It just seems more considerate, and she'll appreciate that you were brave enough to ask her in person. Facebook should only be used as a last resort, if you don't think you'd otherwise have the opportunity to see this person face-to-face again.
