What's going on with Answers! these days? - Clayton A. D. - 05-11-2013 06:45 AM

I used to be able to ask literally ANY sort of questions, and get a plethora of answers within seconds. Now, basically every question I ask gets no more than a few answers, no matter how long I leave it up. At first I thought this was just because I was asking difficult questions, but I'm finding even when I ask easy/shallow questions, very few people-- if anyone-- respond! What the heck is going on around here? Is it like Google, where some entries are given a "top priority" and stay visible to everyone far longer than other questions? What's the deal?

The deal is Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, and the others that have taken chatters off YA and left a core of serious users. YA has more users than ever, but they tend to not add the same answers over and over, so you get a few good answers and that is all.
