Can you get a virus from "liking" a page on facebook? - neveah.janae - 05-11-2013 06:57 PM

I went on my profile and it was pages on there that i never clicked "like" for and idk where they came from. Then I noticed that some of the like pages arent actually from facebook but theyre from other websites. So can you get viruses from them?

Yeah, you can "Like" anything you want, you're safe!

Oh, shoot - maybe not. This just in YESTERDAY:

There's more, just search Google. But as someone has suggested, I obviously don't know what I'm talking about!

No, not possible.

Yes its fully possible, a group of security pro's at Shmoocon(hacker convention) tested out abunch of facebook applications found out ways they could use them to spread malicious applications OR when you press "Like" it could post something on your wall
