Does the free AVG slow down games in facebook? - Infonut - 05-12-2013 12:30 AM

If so, is there a setting that I can disable to make playing facebook games more enjoyable? What is anybody's opinion on the best virus protection? Is AVG considered good? I just noticed that when I played facebook games, that it moved quickly, now after downloading AVG or I don't know what it is, the games are now either getting stuck or moves very slowly.

All anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-malware, software firewalls and phishing filters slow down your internet loading times by a small amount because they have to check information both coming in and out, so yes it probably does.

AVG Free is useless. It just tells you your laptop/whatever has a virus, then leaves it there.

You should buy a proper antivirus, such as Mcaffe, which tells you the site is bad before you click on it.

& When i had it, it stopped me from downloading java, but didn't change my facebook games.

you should download Ccleaner. It's cleans out unwanted cookies, and files on your computer this should help it run faster - http://ccleaner.softwarereviewer.info/?gclid=CM3DyY_om6YCFVBO4QodwSQdaQ

hope I helped, Happy New Year! : )
