my Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is very bad at using FB and Twitter. I don't know about the others.

Obama is actually the first President to actually use social media (the internet) very effectively. And that's probably because he's educated. Bush was also along with everything else, computer illiterate lol. One of his quotes: ""Will the highways on the Internet become more few?"

The answers is no. All politicians should avoid social media as it makes it easier to prove they're flip floppers. Just look at John McCain's Twitter. He said Khadaffi is a bad guy but if you go back far enough he said he was a good guy two years ago.
