The baby boomers are getting older now and this is a way to help prepare all of them.
The younger generation is needed to stay productive and healthy so, the fear of dealth is a good way to try and lead them to a healthier lifestyle.
The young are needed to help support and care for the old.

Because those who are getting into their 60's and 70's are going to need more medical attention as they get older Awareness is needed to deal with the coming medical needs.
