So, it's a MacBook Air and the school denies YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, all of that. I want to know how to get on YouTube on the laptop. Proxy doesn't work because it's denied... Help?

Well friend a proxy server is a server that acts as an medium for requests from clients searching resources from other servers.
Most of the proxies are web proxies and they are slow as they search the resource from different sites.
Vpn extends private networks arouund public metworks and are faster.
If you use VPN(virtual private networks) you can access the sites you mentioned.
