I still have my hotmail account and a lot of my friends have gmail account.
I don't have FB but maybe many people just send messages each other on FB or text each other on the phone today.

I find emailing useless with the amount of social sites we have, exmaple facebook and twitter.
Personally my hotmal is full of junk and spam messages
Try out Gmail its much more organised and easy to use

Yes, I still use email, but only for business/school type stuff, or like my Sephora subscription.

Just to get in touch with musicians (not overly famous ones)/authors that mostly only answer or pay attention to emails. Or to confirm things, or get updates from sites. Or some family members once in awhile will email me pictures or send me a message, when they don't have facebook or such.
I use yahoo and hotmail. And gmail for my youtube account.
I don't use it to talk to friends though.
