I am a new blogger and am having a hard time getting links to my blog to improve my mozrank.
What is the best way to do this?

Find another blog with similar content and post comments on their articles, submitting your link where it is allowed. Building any sort of rank is a process of patience and work. Make sure your blog has good relevant content as well.
This is just one of many ways. Facebook pages/groups work wonders for SEO, as does twitter accounts. The best thing to do is provide the best and most unique content possible, find other blogs and forums and become active on them, and build a fan base. The links and rankings will come
