If you share a photo that somebody posted and your shared photo gets likes, will the original photo on the other person's timeline get the likes as well?

no only your photo will get the likes since you shared it hoped this helps you

it depends - if the person clicks the like link on the shared post, then you "get the like"
but if the person clicks on the shared picture first, and THEN clicks on like, then the source picture gets the like
