What does it mean to 'follow' someone on Facebook? - matthewfein - 07-15-2013 07:21 AM

I was looking at a page of one of my Facebook friends, and it had this section that said: 'followers'.. Can anyone tell me what a 'follower' means on 'Facebook?'

You'll be able to see their statuses but they won't see yours.

it means, rather you are friends with them or not (based on if they block their stuff from non-friends), you get notifications on when they add a photo or something like that.

it means to always listen to their tweets, blogs and or random rants, each and every time they feel the need to share.
