I have Instagram and I got it last summer. I followed loads of people so they would follow back and I don't know any of these people. I did this Because nobody i knew had Instagram but now all my mates have it and I don't really want loads of strangers following me :/ I wondered if there is a way to get rid of them without setting up a new profile.

i think the only thing you can do is 'block them'
this means they no longer follow you and they cannot see your profile

Go to your Followers List and See if you Can Remove them From There
