you're asking about 5 years too late. i used to be on.. god.. 20 of them maybe even more. and they were all active. and then just like that they all became ghost towns. almost every single one closed down. i think it was because facebook became so.. normal, everyone's real life friends started coming online and then everyone just huddled with their IRL people. reddit is pretty darn okay. dailybooth and tumblr can be amusing, but not really indepth.
the only one i know just barely kicking is realpics.net. and it was never one of the good ones anyway, but i still have a profile.
