go to account settings > privacy and you will see it there

You can't permanently delete it. You can deactivate it but when you try to log back in it just reactivates it.

You can only deactivate it, sorry. Go to account settings and look under privacy

click on deactivate account
To deactivate your account:
Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page
Select Account Settings
Click Security in the left-hand column
Click Deactivate your account

you can't delete it only deactivate it. it will still be there forever
