Facebook is terrible, i only use it because it is the only way i can talk with my friends after Windows Live Messenger died, i mostly can tolerate Facebook, but there is one thing i just HATE about Facebook (besides not being able to have privacy), it is the annoying "*Name* messaged you" that keeps popping up in the Facebook tab when someone messages you, it's so annoying, i can't look away because the tab keeps flashing with that extremely annoying message, is there anyway to disable it?

You just need a silenced firearm and some 2 stroke motor fuel. Once you've disposed of the charred remains, you wont be getting any more of those pesky message notifications.
Remember to shave off all your body hair so that you don' leave any trace DNA and turn your phone off so your location can't be placed exactly.
