So I added this girl recently and when she posts stuff, it shows up in my notifications. I'm NOT close friends with her on facebook. Is there another reason this is happening?
Would it possibly be because she added ME to her close friends list?

no, you wouldnt get notifications if she added you to her close friends list

No.. it may be because you might have accidentally added her to your close friends list. You check your close friends list to see if she is there or else add her to acquaintances so that you don't get any notifications about her.

this is bcoz..u may added her in close friends list or u hv have checked the 'Get notifications'..to deactivate it..go to her profile place the cursor on 'Friends' buttons which is before the 'message ' button..
and also..u wont get notifications when she added u in her 'close friends' list
