I think you can but only if it is a credible and actionable threat, for example "I am going to come round your house and stabbed you to death". - And if you receive the threat a few times, I am not sure about standard swearing or "bitching".

You Can Report them and Block them Thats About The Best you Can Do

It depends on what they said. If they said you committed a crime or are terrible at your job (and it's untrue), then maybe. If they said they hate you, then probably not, as that's an expression of your opinion. I think you'd also have to prove that you have a reputation that has been negatively affected. There's more information on the legal definition of slander here: http://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/slander

Only if you are prepared to go to Court and sue for Libel and/or
Defamation of Character.

Slander is verbal and must be said in front of a third person.

Both Libel, Slander and Defamation cases are very expensive to
begin with before they even go to Court and if you lose that will
cost you hundreds of thousands of pounds as you will have to
pay the other sides costs and expenses.

In the cases involving FB nine times out of ten it is usually a
heated argument over something stupid.

My suggestion is let sleeping dogs lie and just block the person
concerned.
