Fb have this ticker where people can see me commenting or like thing. How can i disable that?

you can set it profile only me or friends

when the post you are commenting is set on ''public'', or the thing you like is set on ''public'', then this activity of yours will always appear on your friends' ticker.
actually on public or friends' of friends.
you can control the privacy of your stuff but nt the privacy of other peoples' stuff.
