Unlike Australia, countries such as finland, germany, france, norway, iceland, denmark, canada, sweedan and the netherlands aren't free markets? please comment?

Australia doesn't have the clout or regional backing to oppose the free trade agreements we have with our trading partners.

We are a big fish in a little pond.

They also fail economically, despite how good it ~sounds~
The free markets between Thailand, Indonesia, Korea etc in 1997 was the driving force in their economics demise. Strong economies and bad economies mixing = global disaster.
Further joys of globalisation!

Canada certainly has free trade agreements with other countries. France & Germany are part of the EU. They have free trade.
