I hate how people can see what I like on Facebook. Like the news feed?

Mark them in the settings of the post as "Only Me".

For that, the post's setting shud be to 'only me' whether its ur post or someone else.
Ur post depends setting on you bt sumone else's not.So avoid liking such posts.
i do the same as i dont like this too
