Pretty much, most people who commit suicide usually derive from cyberbullying rather than in person.

Only if you can find the right balance, as a light user. Yes, they can help you keep in contact with friends and family, especially those you dont often get to see on a regular basis. The real question should be, are they really necessary, instead of getting on with your own real non digital life in the real world? The answer to that would be no, as there are more negatives than positives as a result of using a social network. Social networking for many hours a day will definitely put you off balance.Whether you are an addict or just a regular user, some people do end up creating slight barriers between friends as a result, trying to work out who their friends favor. Families go out for a meal, and the kids are silent, glaring into their mobile phones desperate to find out what everyone is talking about on twitter or facebook etc. A complete devotee to facebook in front of a mobile or computer screen is not a good life. Ironically, they can make some people completely anti-social in the real world, and only social in text form on their social network. Not a good thing, and its not just kids who can become networking addicts. If you dont believe its true, try staying away from your facebook completely for one entire month without logging in to your own once, or staring at anyone elses at all (on facebook, your profile never disappears) to see how you feel. If you feel empty or alone without it, you may be an addict suffering from withdrawal symptoms. Can you really do it?

No, social networks makes you always opened and connected to the world and to have fun in the same time, but you must make balance between them and your real life too, go and hang out with your friends... dont waste your time on them ok body just in the right time
