The thing is, I searched up a friend on facebook and when I tried to see what friends she had by clicking the link "friends" on her page the display box was empty and said "no activity to show". Now, does that mean she has no friends or does it mean she hid/blocked them from me or anyone who isn't her friend on facebook yet?

You cant see her profile untill you will be friend

She has protected her profile... you have to be friends 1st...

She probably has her settings at private. You need to add her as a friend in order to see her profile.
