I have some Facebook contacts who regularly share photos from groups and sources that I find offensive. I don't want to block the people completely, I just want to prevent the content from those particular groups from appearing on my feed. Is there a way to do this?

Open group and Leave group..
you can find that option on the top right side of the page..
