So i have a samsug phone and i have the facebook app. When i close the app (I dont log off, i just go to the homescreen of my phone) it still has the green dot next to my name (i checked on a friends acc). Why is that? Does it still say that im online even though im not using the app? Do i have to log off from the app to get it to show that im offline? And how do I get that little phone icon next to my name?
Also, My friend has the fb app and she doesnt log off of her account and it says shes on her phone with that icon thing. Why is that
Oh and, when i do log off of the app, it just says im off. No green dot, No phone sign.how do you get the phone icon that shows like when you were online like how it says "1h " next to it?

1) it's because you receive the messages to your phone and technically you're still logged on
2) yes it does
3) you do have to log off
4) once you log off it shows that you are using a phone but that you are logged off and that you will see the message once you log back in.

It Says thaty your Online Because Even tho you Closed the App you Did Not Really Log Off Closing the App Just Closes the App you have to Actually Log Off By hitting Sign Out in order For you to Appear Offline the Mobile icon Automatically Appears When your Online on your Phone
