Can work use Facebook post against you? - sesshysprincess21 - 07-23-2013 02:11 PM

So someone at my work had toilet papered someone's truck and wrote stuff on the trash cart at work. Managers are printing out people's comments and pictures off Facebook and messenges and using it against the workers now I'm pretty sure that is illegal. Can someone find me the law or prop or something. Please? I need details or websites please please thank you
Yes my Facebook account is private non friends cannot see what's on my timeline. How is it legal for them to print out people Facebook post. And use it against you

Since the information is public, it's completely legal.

as long as your posts are public, I don't see why they can't!!

It's not illegal if your fb is public for them to be able to see and print out pics/ comments they will use it against you. People get fired over fb posts all the time. Sorry.

Sorry but they can use it against you, unless your account is private
