First of all, popularity is not easy to get. But the fact is, everyone wants to be famous. In order to be famous, you must do something that will stand against other or new to people's eyes. Were talking about facebook right?
My suggestion is create a page, of some trending movies, shows, books etc..always invite friends and let them invite also. Always talk to your followers, update and do fun posts.
You could also use you talent. Post video to youtube or any, with additional 'like me on facebook'.

You should active in Facebook by posting interesting status, photos and videos.You need more than 2000 friends. Join in Facebook groups and active their too, then you will get many friends. You cant be famous in one day, need many days work to become famous
