I recently joined an open group in Facebook. Problem is, whenever I post something in the group (or "like" or comment on a post), it appears on my News Feed and all my friends (including my employer) can see it. How can I hide my activities in this group from all or some of my friends? I'm worried I might lose my job over this.
(Btw I'm NOT an Admin of this group.)

you have to choose an audiance before you post
or make that change in the apps settings

there is no way to just turn that off - the owner of the group would have to make it a secret/private group
the only other option you have is to add people you want to hide that activity from to your restricted list
