Any way to delete a video on facebook that was posted by someone else? - Nosee - 07-26-2013 03:49 PM

I appear in that video and i'm not very proud of what i did, so is there any way to remove it without the the permision of the person that posted it?
How can i untag myself?and how to report?

No. You can untag yourself or report the video though.

You can report the video, and get your friends to report it. Facebook will take it down.

They have to delete it

The only person who can delete the video is the person who posted it. Reporting it to Facebook will probably do nothing unless the video is porn or terroristic in nature. Just because you are embarrassed by it isn't reason enough for Facebook to take it down.

Talk to the person who posted the video and ask them to untag you. If they won't you could untag yourself, however, if the person really wants you tagged, they will just re-tag.

This is yet another reason why you shouldn't put yourself in embarrassing situations.
