Like if i see a picture of a guy and i comment on how hot he is so the comments don't show up on my time-line. It is because i am creeping my brothers friends out that i am friends with it.

Change your settings

change your setting to where your comments and stuff are private

Click on The X Than Click on Block Activity and it Will Block the Recent Posts

they dont show up on your timeline, they show up in your friends' tickers, and there is no way to just turn that off
the only thing you can do to prevent it is to add people you want to hide them from to your restricted list
