i changed my user name on instagram and my friend tagged me in her picture in my old user name, the one she had in her phone, it did not show up on my istagram, and when i pressed the name she tagged it said user not found.
so if i change my user name i lose all my followers
is there any way to change my user name and not loss my followers?

When you change your instagram username you don't lose your followers, but the old username has nothing to do with the new one so in any comments you were tagged in it won't come up as your new one it will just say user not found
