Facebook message?..?.....? - Aleksandra - 07-28-2013 06:12 PM

when you delete a message on facebook will they still be able to see it?

If you sent them a message through your inbox and you deleted the message, they will still be able to see it
But if you sent them a message on their post or on a post and you deleted it the message has been permanently removed

Facebook is a website compromising completely of being able to send and receive three different types of messages. You should be more specific.

If you mean an instant messenger message or an 'inbox' e-mail type message, then yes, you are unable to delete them entirely from the Facebook database and they will still be visible for the other party/parties.

However, if you mean a status post, wall post, or comment, then I believe you can delete them for everybody, as long as you are the sender. (Or in the case of comments 'own' the original post.)

yes, you are only deleting your own copy of the message, so they will still be able to read it

not even deleting your whole account will prevent them from reading it
