Why would the "read" disappear on a Facebook message ? - Beverley M - 07-29-2013 06:31 PM

If you send someone a message & then you see the time it was read what does it mean when that disappears ? Does it mean they marked it "unread" or deleted it ? The "checkmark" in FB Messenger is also replaced with the curved arrow meaning the message was sent . Thank you !

Facebook allows you to follow and respond to the exploits of friends, family and colleagues through their status updates and other posts. Sometimes, however, you may try to check a post you saw previously, only to learn that it has disappeared. If you know that no one deleted it, looking into the other potential culprits may help you locate the missing post.
