it says a number like 2m or 6h next to the phone symbol.. is that indicating how many minutes or hours you last went on facebook on mobile or on the computer?

Yes. The last time you messaged someone. You could still be on scrolling through your newsfeed though.

2m means 2 Minutes and 6h means 6 hours, before you were active on Facebook.
