Go to account : account settings : deactivate facebook acount

The only way is to go to settings and deactivate your account. You can activate it again if you chose to.

Go to your account settings and click on deactivate, you should also see delete my account, if not search delete my account and follow from there. It takes 2 weeks to completely delete a facebook account.

You cannot delete FB account permanently. we can only deactive it.
Go to Account settings --> Deactivate Account.

There is 2 Options For Deleting your Account
To Delete Temporary And Possibly Come Back Later Go to Account Settings Than Go to Security than Deactivate Than When Ever you want to Return Log Back in
To Delete With NO Option of Recovery later on Go Here

You can deactivate your account from settings, so that no one can see your profile...
If you want to come back again, you can come....

Just go to account settings and click on deactivate account and your account get deleted !!
