I see people on face book with 800 and more friends , I don't believe they are all friends, family and co workers. I thought social networking was also for meeting new people, not just adding people you know. I have 390 added but I like to request adds from people who are friends of a friend, or people who share the same interests as me or a hot guy. I don't go requesting all the time but when I do I suddenly get a 30 day block on my friend requests. This is like the 3rd 30 day block I had and I don't even go requesting friends often. If people are not interested they have the option to deny and even block somebody but face book is ridiculous with this if you are rejected by a person who you didn't know we will block your friend request for a month. I am sorry Myspace went out where everyone is on FB but I wish a new social networking site would come up that does not do this stuff. Requesting friends should not make you blocked for 30 days when the person has the option to personally block you or just deny you. A little extreme.
But the third time I didn't blindly friend people like i use to, I requested adds from people who know one of my friends who like the same stuff as me. So it's not like before where I completely blindly requested people. But anyways, that feature is so stupid. The individual can just deny you. I see people with 1000 and more friends, I don't believe they know all those people. Some people want to meet new people and I thought social networking was also about that. I am not spamming a product or anything. I just think it's stupid for face book to do this to people.

Somebody you tried to Friend clicked "no" on the, Do You Know ____ Outside of FB? question when a Friend request is declined.
Third time now, one might expect you to know better than to blindly Friend people.

Oh to get a bunch of superficial friends you need to have a bunch of "PHOTO SHOPPED" pictures and say you are a super model and live in Malibu with your rich daddy and go take photos on a beach and photo shop those, in front of somebody's mansion, and with a bunch of prep friends and say you are a somebody even when you are not and you'll see how many shallow and superficial people add you
