My family and friends have always called me "cc". I tried using it on facebook but it won't let me use it. I really don't want to use my real name because of personal reasons.

Facebook is an advertising company who collect personal data on individuals then sell that data to select third parties or use it for their own ad network.
For this reason they want to know your full legal name so that as they collect all this data they can bind it to a real life person

Make CC your first name then use a fake last name. Or the other way around.
