If I add a company or "thing" on facebook, can I manage who "likes" it? - Z - 07-30-2013 02:33 PM

I don't have a facebook account but am thinking of putting a page for my small publishing/arts business on there. However, if people "like" it, is this similar to being a "friend," in any way, and can I delete any "likes" ? For instance, in the unexpected scenario of someone I hated adding the page as a "like", can I counter that so the thing doesn't show up on their list?
Also, I did have an account many yrs ago but deactivated; when Ihave for whateevr reason needed to go back on I've just retyped in my old log-in and the account is restored (including friends etc) but I can then deactivate it again - is this the same with having a business page etc on there?
Thanks.
Thanks Jose. So - does that mean their "like" will still appear, unless I block the in advance? Any ideas about the deactivation thing? Seems to work with individual accounts, not sure it will with businesses etc, but want to be able to shut it down from time to time as not always keen on certain privacy aspects of FB.

No, but you can block them from the page. They won't be able to post on it or comment on your page's statuses, but they'll still be able to see it.
