if you didn't sign out on your facebook app on your phone would you be online even if you're not using the app ?

No, you wouldn't be online but to other users on a PC, a mobile icon would show next to your name but not a green dot to state you're online.

Yeah it will show the phone symbol.... Like you are on mobile.
