My first major at university principles of marketing? - Jon - 10-12-2012 08:58 PM I'm having my first assignment and it confused me. Students are expected to apply their marketing studies to their personal experiences. Students are encouraged to take examples from the notes and the course text and apply them to their own day-to-day life experiences as consumers of goods and services. For example, students may apply marketing theories and concepts, or issues involving social responsibility, to their own knowledge of a product or service. can anyone help me .. what should I write because I didn't get it. thanks - Dorothy Rose - 10-12-2012 09:06 PM Think about the last time you made a major purchase... maybe for a Cellular Phone, Laptop Computer, etc. What Marketing Strategies or Theories do you now notice were used to sway to buy that particular brand or model? Write about the effectiveness of the Marketing Strategies for that the brand you bought vs. the ineffectiveness of the Marketing Strategies for other brands (that you did not buy).
