Facebook: Share Timeline update with one person only.? - Butt-head - 08-01-2013 06:31 AM

I would like to share an update on my timeline with one person only. I want to make sure this person doesn't know I'm sharing it with only them. That is, I don't want Facebook to inadvertantly just instead, post the message on his/her timeline, but instead, just mine and only he/she can see it. How do I do this?

I THINK the answer is: Along the bottom boarder of the box, click the down arrow, click Custom, under "Share With", select "Specific people or Lists.." and then just type in the name(s). Is this right? Can someone confirm?
Just answer the question, please. Grow up.

yes, that's how you do it

but that's kinda childish - if you want only one person to see it, then just send the person a message, because that person might not even see it in the first place... so you are just wasting your own time being overly dramatic like you are still in high school or something

Yes That is Correct
