You could ask the Facebook Tech guys but they probably do not either.
Facebook is a mindless virus that wants everybody in the world to be friends with everyone else so that it can link and sell products to everyone in the world.

Perhaps you have made them friends on a facebook account that uses ONE of your email addresses and they are asking you to be friends using ANOTHER of your email addresses. I get that as I use an alias for facebook and facebook keeps sending me friend requests using my normal email (which it gets from their email contacts) because it obviously doesn't know they're both me.

Sometimes your friends request people for you to add and there name sometimes pops up! this might be the case! That is the only thing that i can think of!
