A guy told me i'm cute over facebook? - silverwhisper - 08-01-2013 03:32 PM

So theres this guy who's like a year older then me and my friend told me to send him weird messages on facebook. I did, and he was really creeped out. he came to my 8th grade graduation a few days ago and the next morning there was a message from him telling me i looked cute (at grad). I asked my friend what i should say, and she told me to keep sending weird messages, so i did but he told me i looked cute again. I've never had a guy tell me that, and i'm 0% experienced when it comes to this stuff. Any advice?

It's just a compliment. Don't make a big deal about it. Say thanks and move on with your life.

How old is he? I wouldn't date if in grade 8... Don't grow up too fast.

accept his complimnt tell him thnks
don't send him or harass him with "weird" messges; you don't want to scare him off plus that's childish
leave him alone n see if he comes to you (give him space/time)

Be yourself. It's so much more rewarding when a guy likes you for being you rather than the fake you that we all put on when we're nervous. I'm assuming that by weird messages you mean just being more forward. That's not such a bad thing. Guys don't take hints or read into subtle things like girls do. Just don't throw yourself at him either.

Piece of advice from someone about 7 years ahead, do not let boys take over your life. You might not notice it happening until you turn 22 like me but try and be aware of it. It happens all the time.
