When someone sends me a message on chat, it won't pop up, it goes directly in my inbox. I don't know hot to unmute it. It's not only for some people, but for all my facebook friends. How to unmute it?

If you are asking about fb messenger,
Click on the gear symbol at bottom of messenger and put tick mark on "Pop-ups"
You can select it by right clicking on the system tray icon...!
