My friend told me that it's not worth it for me to get an iphone, since I do not own a facebook or twitter account. She says that I'm wasting my money if I get one as I won't use those apps. Is there anyone here who owns an iphone but do not have facebook or twitter?

well a smart phone is not just for using social media.
it's if YOU want it.
personally, if you're not gonna use any social media, i would not get a smart phone.

Buy whatever Phone you Like. It's not meant for Social media alone, there's other stuff like google, yahoo, office, etc.

You don't need Facebook or Twitter to own an iPhone. There are thousands of other apps you can download.

You don't have to have a FB and Twitter account. You can use the iPhone for calling people and texting them too on the green " Message" app. You can download songs on iTunes and other apps to use.
So you can get one if you want to. I would. Hope this helped!

Hi there, I will not use Apple product at all.
In about last 5 yrs I had use 3 android phone, Sony Ericsson, Samsung and now Asus Padfone 2.
If u start using Apple or Blackberry, it will be difficult and troublesum for u to migrade to android.
A lot of file and app only apple and bb have.
If 1 day u wan to try other phone brand, u hav problem to transfer all ur data.
